Ron
Humble, Hardworking, Honest, Respected, Caring and Kind!
These are the first words that spring to mind.
68 years married proves that you care!
If we were monetary judged
On all the hearts you have touched
You would surely have been a millionaire!
So here you are 98 years old and done your best!
Seems someone above thinks you deserve a rest!
On April 12th Karen and I will be there and sit with you a while
Remembering all those good times and your wry smile!
We will bid you goodbye and send you off to pave the way!
For your true love Ursula whose souls will meet again, but not that day!
I am proud to have known you, you were one of a kind
You may leave for now, but will remain on my mind!
So dear friend it’s bye for now!
I know we will meet again somewhere, somehow?
Mixed emotions, yes I’m sad
But I am also happy and glad!
A true friend you was, but personally to me, more like a dad!
Love you Ron and thank you!
P.S.
On a slightly different note when you go?
If you get an insight into the winning lottery numbers,
Please do let me know!
I know if you read this, what you would say
“ Daft Bugger”
So you can tell me this when we meet again,
One day!

I am I and you are you, whatever we were to each other that we still are.
Speak to me in the easy way which you always used.
Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight?
Life means all that it ever meant, it is the same as it ever was.
